1) Terms of Use
Legal Monk provides AI-assisted contract review outputs for informational support. It is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, legal representation, legal filings, certification, or regulated professional legal services.
You are responsible for the documents you upload, ensuring you have rights to process them, and for final legal and business decisions made from any output. The service is provided on an "as is" basis and we do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or suitability of generated content for any specific legal outcome.
You may not use the service for unlawful content, credential abuse, security attacks, infringement of third-party rights, or any activity that violates applicable law or payment provider rules.
2) Privacy Policy
We collect account data (email and authentication data), billing metadata from payment processors, and PDF contracts you upload so we can extract text and run an audit. We also store the structured audit report we generate for you, including findings, jurisdiction notes, and export files you choose to download.
Contract text you submit is sent to our AI provider (currently OpenAI) over their API to produce the audit output. That processing is inference-only: we do not use your contracts or audit content to train our own models, and we configure the service so your inputs and outputs are not used to improve third-party models beyond what that provider's standard API terms and abuse-prevention policies allow.
We retain account and saved audit history for as long as your account exists and we need the data to provide the service, then for legal, security, fraud-prevention, and accounting requirements. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal data by contacting [email protected].
3) Subscription Creation Policy
Paid plans are recurring subscriptions unless otherwise stated. To start a paid plan, you must create an account, choose a subscription tier, and complete checkout with an approved payment method through our payment processor.
A subscription is created only after the payment provider successfully sets up the recurring billing agreement and confirms the subscription as active. If the payment provider rejects or cannot complete setup, the subscription is not considered active and paid access should not begin.
Pricing, billing cadence, included usage, and any taxes displayed at checkout are the terms that apply to the subscription you purchase at that time, subject to future changes for later billing cycles.
4) Subscription Cancellation Policy
Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You may cancel future renewals at any time through the relevant billing portal or by contacting support.
Cancellation stops future recurring charges. Unless required by law or an approved refund applies, amounts already charged for the current billing period are generally not prorated. The effective end date of paid access may depend on the payment provider's subscription state and any notice shown during cancellation.
If you need help canceling, contact [email protected] or call +972 053 922 7221.
5) Refund Policy
If you believe you were billed incorrectly, contact support within 14 days of charge. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method by the payment processor.
Fees may be non-refundable for abuse, policy violations, or where prohibited by local law and processor rules. Taxes and processor fees may be treated separately. Refund processing time depends on your payment provider and bank, and most approved refunds appear within 5-10 business days.
